Slight tapping noise coming from engine 3 or 4 mins after starting from a cold start?

its a 1993 lincoln with the 4.6 engine it doesn't tap at start up but i'd say about 3 mins after start up it taps a little then it goes away is this a piston slap or what could it be the wrong oil viscosity
