Problem with my rc buggy?

My rc Buggy is having some a problem the engine just wont start i took it out and removed the pull start and hooked up my drill to it put it on high and pulled the trigger. It didn't start. Now is it the motor? or my fuel? I think it is my fuel because its a year old and a mixture or 55% 20% and 90%. But if it is should i just unhook it from the fuel and let it run with the drill only for 1 minute to clear the pistons or the bad fuel? I know for a fact that engine is not bad because i only ran it for 50 Hours if it all added up i ran it either everyday or every 2 days. I blew my plugs twice so maybe i need more tuning to do? and buy a new plug. Now i have tried blowing the fuel back into the tank out of the fuel line to make sure there are no air bubbles blocking the fuel from going in. and i have tried putting my finger over the exhaust pipe and removing it while running the drill i have blew some nitro into the fuel line to the engine so that it might start? Any idea's what might be wrong??? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.

Leaf blower won't start?

I have a craftsman leaf blower that won't start. It has good spark plug and sparks work fine. The piston creates 30PSI pressure. Have changed the gas and mix several time. There is enough gas in the bubble but the it appears not getting enough gas in the piston through full choke

Should I go to the father's day breakfast in my sister's first grade class?

I've been her guardian since our parents died four years ago. At the beginning of June, her class is planning to invite dads for doughnuts and coffee in honor of father's day. They did the same thing on Mother's day, and even though mothers were not required to go, I still heard that she was very sad when she had nobody there to celebrate with. Whats the part that attaches the rod of the piston to the driveshaft? ?

Sorry if its not called the driveshaft. I don't know names. But I know there's. 2 like fins that come off the rod on the piston that attach to the driveshaft(?). So my questons are 1 what are they called and 2 does they're length have an affect on transfer or power? I think I just figured that out, they'd have to be equal to the length of the cylinder right? Another question. I know transmissions do this but at higher speeds if you could shorten the length of the thing I'm asking the name off it would give it more speed then torque right? It depends on whether the parking brake is on that wheel. If not, a clamp or vise with a socket will do it. If the piston has a groove or X on it, which normally is the case when parking brakes are attached, the piston screws in clockwise by getting a tool in the groove. Needle nose pliers will often work in a pinch.

800cc Injectors. Are They Too Much?

I'm not stupid. I understand that if the internal parts on the engine are stock, the turning the boost up past 8 psi will put a piston rod through my hood. Here's the thing: I don't know if the internal parts of this 95' civic ex with vtec has too much power putting into it. It has 800cc injectors, a t3/t4 turbo on it and a walboro fuel pump. Cranking that psi will blow the engine if it can;t handle it, but does the 800cc on a 4 cylinder civic seem a little excessive? And don;t tell me I'm stupid for this, it's not my car.

Am I the only one confused when watching the Casey Anthony Trial?

Today I was watching the trail again like normal on Good Morning America, and it said that she has a witness that found the body. Now they are saying he TOOK the body then months later placed it back in the crime scene. That's the excuse of the defense but I don't buy that! Didn't they just say that she died of drowning? So why would he have the body if she died of drowning? Why wouldn't they have said anything earlier if she just died of drowning? Small engine questions?

Hey I'm trying to fix my gokart engine and learn about how the engine works while I do it, since I'm basically teaching myself. I've taken off the engine covers and the exhaust, and uscrewed all screws relating to what I think is the top of the cylinder head that is supposed to be able to be removed. 1. My first question is what is that little black box with the hoses coming out of it that's showing at 0:24 in the video? 2. What part of the cylinder head comes off so I can see the piston?!!? I cannot seem to figure it out anywhere, I thought it was the very top maybe an inch into it?? 3. Any suggestions on how to get this thing unlocked??

Sig 556, why so special?

I'm in a bit of a delima between the two weapons, the Sig 556 and the AR-15, like many people have been before lol. What makes the Sig THAT much better than the AR to be $300-400 more expensive. Of course the gas piston system is a given, but is there anything else that is really that much of an improvement to the AR? The AR is as said $300-400 with virtually endless possibilities of customization. Another question i have about the Sig is, what's the aftermarket like (stock, trigger, grip...etc.)? Hydrogen Peroxide killed my tastebuds!?

i kept swishing with it for like an hour last night... i was trying to whiten my front teeth... the tip of my tongue was almost constantly exposed to the burning, foamy solution... it felt very abrasive on the tip of my tongue and gums.... this was last night... i tried to eat a doughnut today... it tasted like fried dough... tried to drink a mountin dew... tasted not sweet and funky... someone bought me an ice creme cone after school... it lasted like frozen milk... i can hardly taste anything sweet.... its like my sweet taste perception went from 110% to 5-8% over night... my whole tounge was exposed... but the tip of it got it wayyy worse then the rest.... are my taste buds damaged? are they dead? will they come back? is it permanent? will i ever be able to enjoy sweet food again?

My brother has epilepsy triggered, partly, by white sugar. Was my car sabotaged at MOT? Mechanic's opinion please :)?

I took it to a new garage. Booked it in for the MOT, it failed but I kinda hit it off with the manager while it was being done so he did the required work for free AND only charged me half price for the test. Anyway, I ended up on a date with the manager, and we spoke about my car and the fact I havent had it serviced for a long time, he was really concerned and said I really need an oil change etc and I should book it in, so I did, for two weeks later when I got paid. Just over a week later, I broke down, diagnosed fault was 'no compression'. Im still dating the manager so obviously it went to his garage. There was severe engine damage from sludge and at one point it was looking like I needed a new engine. They sent off the cylinder head to be skimmed and pressure tested and had an engineer look at some slight wear to the cam shafts. Engineers report came back ok so it looked as though the engine could be rebuilt, rather than replaced. Then when they started working on it, piston 1 was dry, suggested an integrity problem with the bottom block, even though it had sat for three days and hadn't leaked at all. Back to needing an engine replacement. However, the manager wanted to do everything in his power to help me, and appeared to have already gone well over and above the call of duty. He said there was a chance the repair would still work and he would risk it, at his own expense, before saying a new engine was definitely needed. So the repairs appeared to work. He is keeping a close eye on it, checking levels every few days at the moment, but he seems very pleased with it and it is running fine. My final bill was half the cost of a reconditioned engine and included the engineer's work, labour, a head gasket set, a water pump, coolant, oil and filter, cam shaft bolts, spark plugs, thermostat and coolant. I am over the moon that I dont need a new engine. However, something has just entered my head and I know I am probably just being ridiculous but wanted an expert's point of view. When I booked the car in for the MOT, I filled in a form which asked me when car was last serviced. I put a '?' cos it has been so long. I am a young single woman and may therefore be considered an easy target. Is there anything they could have done during the MOT to make it lose compression a week later? They ended up with an 800 pound job out of it, and I know there are some dodgy garages out there. Maybe the whole thing, the manager's charm, his generosity with the MOT, his offer to take a risk for me to save me having to have a new engine .. could this all be part of a scam? Nobody could have done anything to the car, except for during the MOT and it was in there less than an hour, so I think I probably just am over-analysing .. and I know failing to change the oil for such a long time will, without a doubt, cause problems. I had sludge at my filler cap a year ago and ignored it (yes I know I am a complete idiot). The only thing which is making me slightly suspicious is the fact that it broke down just a week after the MOT. Coincidence?? ... Very interested to hear what people think ....

Burning Oil 2011 Subaru Forester- dealer trying to say it's normal?

2011 Forester seems to be burning about a quart of oil every few weeks. I have an appointment for the dealer to look at it but right off the bat, the service guy tried to manage my expectations by quoting page 11-9 in the manual that since it uses 0w20, it is "acceptable" (by who?) to burn 1 quart every 1, 200 miles. At $8/quart that is ridiculous on a new car (it requires full synthetic). I also think it is burning even more than that. Every time I turn around, the dip stick appears to be dry which could also hurt the motor. This seems like a serious design flaw- I don't care what they list in the manual. It is a boxer 4 cylinder (not a turbo). It is driven gently. Would it be okay to use a heavier oil or given the tolerances and engine design, could this hurt the motor? I assume a thicker oil would not burn as much. I also read that since it is a boxer motor and the pistons are on the side, on start up, it burns extra oil and it needs thinner oil so it can circulate more quickly since no oil stays in the heads- it drips down when the car is off unlike a traditional motor where much of the oil stays in the top. The lower center of gravity the boxer engine provides helps with handling but I guess there is a trade off e.g., rough starts and oil consumption.

I'm an active person. I got up early, had a cup of vanilla coffe with soy milk and stevia then rode my bike to Tai Chi class. After class I lifted weights for an hour and rode home. It's been hot and humid lately, even in the morning so I've been making smoothies a lot because I can use frozen fruit and frozen greens and add nutrients easily. Then I had ww pasta with marinara pesto bell pepper olive sauce for lunch and now I'm having sunflower seeds for a snack. I eat oatmeal with raisins and walnuts frequently. I eat a lot of different foods, switching it up a lot. I love mangoes, papayas, fresh pineapple. At the Farmers Market last Saturday I got fresh basil and a big bunch of collards grown without pesticides.

Why does my car sounds like a diesel engine when cold?

I am thinking about divorce after only a yea a half and have a newborn?

I live in Louisiana and am thinking about divorce. I just gave birth to abeautiful little girl a month ago. My hsand and I have been having prolems for a while i just kept making excuses and telling myself it would get better. We have had any many conversations to try and resolve the problems but things always go back to normal and now that i have our little one it is hitting me harder. I feel like a single mom because i get NO help from him. He only seems to help or do anyting other than play video games online & chat online when he wants something from me. I do love him but I just don't think we are meant to be any more. I want to stay civil but if I go though with this I am afraid that when he has his time with her that she will not get the attention and love she needs from him and am afraid she will get hurt. Because I know if I go through with it, his gaming will get worse and thnk he will drink and party more like he use to. I guess I do not have just a question I need some legal advice as to what to expect with a divorce involvng such a young child and how custody will play out.

My Mercury Sable engine went bad?

My mother bought a Mercury Sable 2000 from a dealer ship for ten thousand dollars with 90,000 miles now 120,000 miles, I know she got ripped off and not only that. You're probably ok unless there is a fair amount of wear in the cylinders. With worn cylinders, a ridge is left around the top of the bore. This ridge can cause the top ring to break as it hits it. Also honing the bore removes the surface shine leaving microscopic scratches which can hold oil during break-in and provide lubrication.

Engine hard to turn over.?

Okay I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix SE, 3.8L V6. It has 168,000 miles on it. I left the house and the engine started up rather roughly. I drove about 3.5 miles (engine seemed to run fine) stopped at a store, and when I got back in the car it wouldn't turn over. Replaced the starter, main bearings, rod bearings, timing chain, and soon to change the oil pump. The engine is so tight the starter can't turn it over. There was small metal grit in the oil pan when I changed the bearings, but the old bearings only had what appeared to me to be minor grooves in them that you would expect on a car with over 100k miles on it(also crankshaft didn't have scrapes on it or warped). The MAF sensor was triggering the check engine light before this happened and I had a small oil leak around the valve gasket (oil was not low at time of engine malfunction). When manually turning over the engine with a beaker bar it takes and incredible amount of force and sounds like the compression is abnormally high. Anyone have any thoughts as to the issue? As I am almost to the end of my list of things that could possibly cause this type of issue. (also rods and pistons do not appear to have any abnormal ware or warped)

If your friend says he tried to bleed the brakes and failed, then first have the brakes bled. If the brake pedal still goes to the floor, the symptoms are those of a bad master cylinder.

It depends, if you do the work yourself and the cylinder isn't gouged and messed up, you can do it for a very reasonable price. If you take it to a shop and tell them to fix it whatever it takes and costs, they will more than likely take you for a ride, goodness knows how bad. A Wiseco top end kit (piston kit and top end gasket kit) runs around $130 or so on eBay, Wiseco top end bearings run around $15, the flex cylinder honing tools you use in drills are relatively inexpensive (around $30-$40, though it depends on which you buy and where. If your cylinder doesn't need a $200 replating or anything like that, you could do it for well under $150, add $30-40 if you don't have a honing tool, and that's talking a complete top-end rebuild with top-of-the-line parts.

What should I do when my friends bail on me without apology?

Sounds like they just wanted to go to the party. You cant force people to go along with your plans and it sounds like they just didnt want to be obligated. They should have at least offered to reschedule so everybody could do what they wanted and everybodys happy. 4 cycle small engine help?

I have a 2007 minibike that is broken and i need help figuring out why. I am fairly experienced, but have not seen this before. The engine is 97cc and it goes approx 35mph. I have driven it heavily for 3 years now. I drive it to my work place on gravel back roads(4 miles). Today the engine was making a weird noise 1 mile from home it lacked power. the engine locked up, stopped and a minute later it wouldn't turn over. I tore it open and the cylinder was smooth and i turned the engine over in reverse and now it turned over easy. It was perfect again. I put it back together and drove for a mile and it drove good but broke again but this time it pulled over with no compression. The piston rod broke. It had full oil, why did it do this?

My mom and dad in law favor their other grandchild MUCH more than our child?

My husband's brother had a child in 2008, she is my mother and father in law's first grandchild. (I'll call her Jane) About a year later, my husband and I had our daughter. My mother and father in law, as well as my husbands other siblings, favor Jane MUCH MUCH MORE than our child. I understand she is their first grandchild, and the first baby in the family, but it is ridiculous. They gush about her on Facebook, they post dozens and dozens of pictures of her. And they do love my daughter as well, but they make it so obvious how much more they care about Jane and it hurts, a lot. I don't know if I should say anything or not? It is incredibly hurtful. They babysat Jane for about 5 days a week during her first year, because her parents both worked full time. I am a stay at home mom, so they never babysat for my daughter like that. I think that has something to do with it, but am I right in feeling that is no excuse, and it is still unacceptable? I will definitely say something if this is still going on once my daughter is older and able to understand and see how much they favor Jane. I'm not going to allow Jane to be hurt like that. But should I say something before then?

I feel bad because I bought animals from Petco?

Well, 9 years ago I got my first guinea pig from a little old local petshop. Now, I wished we'd gotten her brother, but that's not important. She's healthy, hardy, and seems to have a life-time contract! About 5 or 6 years ago we felt she was too lonely so we got her a friend. We had to go to Petco because it was the only place avaliable around where I live that sold another female guinea pig. She was a mess...always sick and in fact the said a vet had checked her that afternoon and gave her a clean bill of health. She was sick, it was obvious. One of the girls that worked there was fond of the little girlie and told us the store was going to put her down if no one bought her today (this was after we bought her) because they didn't want to risk infection of the other animals...at the time I was thinking "Okay, well they are just trying to prevent illness" but now I'm thinking "What the **** is wrong with them?" I didn't know about all these bad things Petco had down (the articles about them buying all those poor cruelly treated animals and then backfiring for MONEY!!!)!! 6 months ago we got two more...why? I dont know! My sister persisted that petco doesnt do anything wrong! In the cage there were two other sick guinea pigs (there were obvious signs) but we got two anyways and a different girl said "Aww I'm gonna miss these guys, they were the good ones" like....umm...excuse me? What in the world is that supposed 2 mean? The manager also assured us all animals are checked by the vet and given a clean bill of health, when we asked about the others. I wanted to get the others, for the sake that I couldn't leave the poor things, but unfortunately didnt. I no longer support PetCo in buying live animals and refuse to support them whatsoever. But my friends only support shelter animals, as I always have (I volunteer) but when they ask where I got my animals I always dodge the questions because I don't want them to know that I supported Petco. I feel so bad that I bought them, but sort of good because some people buy them to feed them to their snakes or they could've just been put down in the back of the store. I'm torn between buying the animals from PetCo because I worry about them being mis-treated but I don't want to be a supporter....Should I really feel bad for this..indirect-ish support??? How to handle husbands family...actually more of his mother?

I'm not sure how to deal with my husbands family, actually more of his mother. When i first started dating my husband i got along GREAT with his family but out of nowhere his mother started giving the both of us attitude. She started saying nasty things about me & soon after the rest of his family jumped on the bandwagon of hating me too. No one had any reason to dislike me. It got really uncomfortable since i had moved in too. It went from getting along great just like family to them treating me like i was a horrible person. I was always kind & respectful. I always helped out as much as possible. I would make sure the house was cleaned EVERY day before i would even leave the house & never said no when they asked me to do something whether it was clean or run an errand. When my husband would confront his mother she would never give a reason all she would do is try to bash me even more! My husband ended up not talking to his family for almost a year because of how bad she treated the both of us & how everyone followed her lead. Towards the end my husband finally got a reason out of her....her reason exactly her words "she didnt like the way i cleaned the house" & a few other weak excuses like that. I couldn't believe it! She NEVER cleans & i mean NEVER even before i moved in. I couldn't understand her reasoning for hating me & especially since she doesn't know what clean is! Well early this year we decided to try to give his family a chance since we just had our 1st child. We want our baby to have as much family as possible without letting our personal feelings get involved. My question is how can i try to let things go and move one without holding a grudge? I cant stand going over there so they can see my baby & unfortunately my husband cant just bring her to visit because hes been training for months so its up to me to do so. I still get angry & want to say **** them! Sorry for the language but i have a years worth of frustration & anger built up. It gets me even more angrier that his mother actually had the nerve to say I OWED HER an apology! I couldn't believe that she said that! What was i supposed to say? were both juniors. weve known eachother since elementary. shes always treated me differently than her other friends but dont know why.. theres so many things she does but im gonna just say some of them because theres so many. one, she always acts like shes better than me. ab a year ago she had moderately bad acne and i never once said anything about it. infact when she complained i would insist it wasnt bad. and now i have a few zits on my forehead and she makes comments about it to try and bring me down. also shell always compare tests and when she very rarely does better than me shell rub it in my face. also she has her permit and she says stupid crap like: my mom says i park better than you do. im thinking WHO CARES.. two, im the only one out of our friends that has a license and she always asks me to do something.(prob cause its free transportation.) which is fine but i like to keep to myself and am not big on going out so i usually say no not tonight unless it sounds fun.(she begged me to go to this "haunted" place several times which is 45 minutes away. and wouldnt stop after the first so i ended up take her and other friends she invited 3 times) then she asked me to go just once more (4th time) and i said no way cause its not even fun and nothing interesting happens.. and she will seriously beg me over text for atleast an hour and say how i am lazy and never wanna do anything with her anymore but do with other friends. which is true but only because she annoys and angers me so much!! and sometimes i give in to her begging. another thing is she makes small things a big deal. like when she gets a "boyfriend" who she will only text and make excuses not to hang out because shes too shy but she wont admit to it and she acts like shes so grown up to have a boyfriend yet she cant even hang out with him! she is shy but somehow hides it from others by acting stupid. like when she has to talk in front of the class she talk like shes high and laugh at stupid stuff. My mom's friend who I called Aunt for my whole life, has a down on his lucky son who's wife I met while help caring for my so called aunt. They want to stay with me for 2 months, and willing and able to give $200 a month. Here is my question, $200 will not make or break me. It can give me a little breathing room, but not much. I was going to let them stay for free, but the wife insisted. If I accept the $200 does that mean if they try tio stay longer, would I have to go the 2 month route to evict them, after 2 months I am willing to let them stay. The wife seems like a responsible person, and I do not feel she would screw me. But my aunt's daughter talked me into buying a condo, and assured me we are in it together. Just tio be sure I had a contract made out explainning what we agreed to on the condo. She made excuses why she had not signned it, and I ended up eating 25,000. I am willing not to assume the son, and wife of my friend aunt trust worthy and not like his sister. But I want to protect myself. I am thinking not to accept the $200 so I do not have to evict them, when and if I do not want them in my house anymore. Maybe you should go see a doctor and have him help out. The docotor will tell or help you guys with a meal plan for your daughter. I would ask your husband to respect your wishes for your daughter & lets just try it out & if he doesn't like the results of it, it can always go back his way. Another good thing about the doctor is you can get a bmi done. Body mass index, they will take her height & weight it will tell you how close she is to being over weight , normal weight, & under weight. Also you could start fixing her meals and talking to her about it. I hope I helped :)

I've been her guardian since our parents died four years ago. At the beginning of June, her class is planning to invite dads for doughnuts and coffee in honor of father's day. They did the same thing on Mother's day, and even though mothers were not required to go, I still heard that she was very sad when she had nobody there to celebrate with. I don't want her to feel the same way for father's day. I'm kind of a father figure since I'm her guardian, but I'm still her brother. I have a friend who I recently discovered is not a real friend at all. Its a long story, but for starters he has sabatoged a past court case of mine. He is gay and did not want the "man" to get into trouble. (the man did sexual assault) Also he has told many stories and lies, never stays consistent. and he has stopped calling me, avoids calls, makes excuses. and he has done some pretty crazy things to me. When I tried to confront him on how he has said certain things, he of course either changes his story, or forgets his lies all together!. When he heard I was going to charge someone with sexual assault and Sue a School, he made a comment that a "dyke" was charging him with sexual assault and he had to go to court, so couldn't spend the day with me. way later, he changed the story..he lied, he was just mad and said that cause of the man i was going to charge. I didn't end up pursuing the case, my so called friend was also a witness and he basically messed up my whole case..and took off afterwards. I dropped the case against the school. he also has done some pretty nasty things. I mentioned a job i wanted to apply for, he ran and tried to get my job!. And he only calls if he needs something. theres alot more to this, but its too long a story. Basically if you had a freind who was making subtle hints at you, then later denying what he had said, even pathologising you..etc never staying consistent and forgetting his lies. Is it worth confronting this jerk? Or would you just move along. I want some advice this is bothering me alot.?

I need advice on a gokart engine problem?

I bought this 8hp gokart with offroad tires and lights from a guy for $350 a while back. Ive only ridden it a few times in my yard, and now it stopped starting so I took it apart and found a goldball size hole under the starter in the block. You can see the crankshaft and the connecting rod broken on the piston. Im trying to figure out if I should: try to sell it as is and make atleast some of my money back, or should I invest in buying another engine and then selling it. If I bought another engine, how much would it be and could I get one with alot of horsepower or is there a mimit to what a gokart can handle?
